EJ44C Pro-Arte Composite Extra Hard Tension Classical Guitar Strings
If you need a firm set of classical strings, D'Addario EJ44C Composite strings give you the highest tension and firmest feel of the all the D'Addario Pro-Arte Composite string sets. They are exceptionally responsive and lively, and let you play with maximum power and projection. This is made possible by the use of a high-tech polymer called Zyex, which has exceptional strength and very low elongation. Composite strings made with Zyex can tune up immediately, with very little stretching. They stay in tune longer and give you 2 to 3 times the playing life of ordinary nylon strings.
Wound Bass Strings: Like all of the Pro-Arte Composite strings, their bass strings are made with special stranded Zyex, multi-filament cores which are wound with silver plated copper wrap. Composite core strings produce a powerful, but warm tone which lasts 2 to 3 times longer than traditional classical strings.
Treble Strings: EJ44C Composite strings feature traditional, clear nylon monofilament treble strings, and also include an alternate composite 3rd/G string. The beige colored Composite G-string provides extra string tension and responsiveness with greater projection which blends the tone and vibrancy of the wound bass strings and the clear nylon treble strings.
