They are made with phosphor bronze alloy windings, for a naturally warm tone.The13-56 gauge give power to standard dreadnaught acoustic guitars, as well as that distinctive big guitar sound.

The NANOWEB coating is essentially invisible, but it locks out finger oils, grit, and contaminants that can collect in the spaces between the windings and rob the tone and the life of your strings. NANOWEB lets you enjoy your strings three to five times longer than ordinary strings, while retaining their natural tone and warmth.

The bare strings are also treated. They receive Elixir's Anti-Rust coating to prevent junk from sticking to them, and from killing their tone prematurely.
