What makes Fender Original Bullets unique is the use of a cylindrical brass slug, or "bullet" at the tail end of the string, instead of a standard round ball. The bullet is designed to slip snugly into the string block of a Fender Strat or similar guitar, to firmly anchor the string, and to come out easily when it's time to change strings. Bullets are better for this since standard ball end strings tend to get stuck in the sting block, making string changes troublesome; or they have a tendency to shift, twist, or "cock" under hard playing, causing a change in string tension when you need it most.
Fender Original Bullets are a unique set of electric guitar strings, to give you the best of the classic Fender sound and modern string technology. Original Bullets feature pure nickel windings and Fender's patented "Bullet" string ends, designed for tremolo equipped guitars. Their patented bullet string end creates a positive sonic connection with the bridge block, for rock solid tuning stability and enhanced sustain. Their pure nickel windings give you warm vintage tones with long lasting sustain. Fender bullet end strings are the perfect string for Strats.
Fender 3150SLs are light enough for easy bending and easy tremolo action, and play just right for vintage Rock & Roll, and everything that followed. Please refer to the table above for string diameters, they make you selection by pressing the Options button and selecting the set you want. We think you'll agree, Bullets are Better.
