Kona KE35 semi-hollow electric guitars come in two brilliant transparent red finishes, as shown here. The essential difference between the two is the amount of flame in the maple tops, cream or black binding, and the use of chrome or black and hardware. Both guitars are full size Jazz guitars, based on the original Gibson 335 model of the late 1950s, but with a slightly longer 25 inch scale and a a 1-3/4 inch nut width. They are made for Jazz and chord melodies, with plenty of room on the fingerboard for complex chord formations.
The KE35 series form Kona Guitars have laminated maple tops, linden wood backs and side, and a properly set glued in neck. There is a solid block under the bridge and stop bar, to make the body immune to on-stage feedback. Each is equpped with dual humbucker pickups with separate controls for tone and volume, and a 3-way toggle pickup selector switch. The KE35's come with a custome designed Kona Guitars hard shell guitar case and a full factory warranty.
