Low Noise - La Bella 413P studio professional gecording classical guitar strings are truly a unique development. 413P's have high-density nylon treble strings and polished wound bass strings. This is the world's first low noise classical string, thanks to La Bella's stone grinding process, which eliminates finger noise when shifting positions or playing glissando. They also have a full and even tone, with remarkable presence and sensitivity to the player's most delicate inflections. 413Ps are the preferred choice of classical guitar artists, for both concert performances and studio recording. Chet Atkins used La Bella 413P strings on his classical guitar recordings, because they gave him the full tonal spectrum he demanded, and were exceptionally quiet under his fingers. La Bella 413P's are made for the recording studio, but their advantages can be extended to any setting where perfectly clear and clean notes are desired.
Chet Atkins played La Bella 413P's for his classical and nylon string guitar pieces, even back in the 70's.

Finger noise on guitar strings is primarily due to the guitarist's technique, and classical guitar strings are probably the most sensitive to finger noise. We know no guitar strings are absolutely "noise free", but La Bella 413P strings are certainly LOW NOISE strings. We don't want to make the claim that they are "noise free", when in reality you can still hear your fingers sliding on smooth strings such as these.
